BUTCH WAX & THE HOLLYWOOD'S have been entertaining crowds throughout the Midwest for 25 years. With their great dance music and oldies from the 60's and 70's they continue to thrill sold out crowds everywhere. Gene started Butch Wax & The Hollywood's in the mid 80's and then John, Tandra, Chris and Sonny all joined later. They have shared the stage and studio with many national acts and were also the backing band for the legendary Johnnie Johnson in countless performances during the past decade.

Mike is a fantastic singer and keyboard player and fronts his own band "My Friend Mike" and is also a regular member of Butch Wax & The Hollywoods. Mike brings tons of energy and soulfulness to both Soul City and Butch Wax.
